5 September 2019
By: Abbey Barnes, Sales Co-ordinator
International Day of Charity is celebrated annually every 5th September and serves to increase the public’s support for charitable causes. Today, we’re celebrating and raising awareness of iFLY Manchester’s local charity partner – Marie Curie North West.
iFLY Indoor Skydiving and Marie Curie run quarterly fundraising events and awareness days with iFLY. Their mission is to help people and their families living with a terminal illness make the most of the time they have together by delivering expert care, emotional support, research and guidance.
What is Marie Curie North West currently working towards?
- Help Marie Curie raise vital funds by volunteering at local supermarket collections across the region from Mid-November – Christmas. This will enable them to care for people who may be spending their last Christmas with their loved ones. Volunteer to help and find the nearest collection by calling Lynn Partridge at the fundraising office on 0161 225 2809
