STEM experiences are the key to attracting and maintaining student interest
Entry level jobs for students of Science, Technology, Maths and Engineering are among the highest paid in the country. Yet recent research suggests a skills shortage crisis is just around the corner. Mike Hollinshead, from iFLY Indoor Skydiving in Manchester, argues more needs to be done to enable kids to experience the power of these subjects, not just study them in a classroom, if we are to produce sufficient numbers of scientists and engineers in the future.
